What's Next? Fockers Go To The Retirement Home?

Okay I for one have never been a fan of these movies. Meet The Parents did have it's moments but was very predictable. Meet The Fockers to me, was just plain bad and boring. The first half an hour felt like a lifetime, and until Barbara and Dustin turned up, I was ready to leave the cinema. These two classic actors made it passable to keep watching. but seriously I don't see the appeal of these movies. Yes, they have made a serious wad of cash and yes I guess that is why the next one was greenlit and will be hitting the cinemas come this holiday season. But guess where they are taking the direction now? Greg Focker and his wife are having a baby, and therefore the two families will now come back together for hilarious results (maybe or just predictable stuff to do with children, hmm let me think could there be chaos in the hospital or is toilet time going to have some classic jokes, I think I could write the screenplay) All the actors are back with the addition of new ones. Jessica Alba is going to be on board, same with Laura Dern, Harvey Keitel who will join Ben (every movie I act the same) Stiller, Owen (my brother is actually the talented one) Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand. Why Paul Weitz has come on board as director I have no idea? Maybe after his last flop The Vampires Assistant he needed a paycheck. This is the man who brought the hilarious comedy About A Boy to the screen. I for one will not be watching this. I gave up on the Fockers ages ago. To me all I would like to say to them is FOCK OFF. Enough already. Little Fockers opens 26 December (Australia).
