Autobots Get Ready To Transform Once Again

I have to admit being a child of the 80's I hold the Transformers franchise dear to my heart. I don't think there is one guy (and probably many girls as well, don't get mad yet ladies) that don't love the transformers. Tranformers are robots in disguise who protect planet Earth from the evil Decepticons. Well, when the live action movie was confirmed, I was ecstatic as well as frightened as I thought, "You better not stuff this up Mr Bay, because if you do I know that a lot of people will be coming after you." But Michael (that's Michael Bay the director, listen to me writing like I know the guy, I wish) did the unthinkable and made a movie which had all the elements of the cartoon. The movie made a killing at the box office being the biggest hit of 2007. But then something happened. He dropped the ball in the sequel. I mean it had all the right elements. Big action, fantastic special effects, the original cast, but for some reason it did not work (killing Optimus and not having him in half of the movie, there was your problem Michael). But people still flocked to see it, although many wish they hadn't. Okay, so it looks like third time will hopefully be the charm, as those robots in disguise are back. No details have been spilled yet as the plot is as top secret as what happens in a scientology meeting, but I can reveal I have seen pics from the set and let me tell you it looks like the action is going to be big as always. All the cast are returning, except Megan Fox (boo hoo), due to some remarks she made about the director (if you didn't know she called him Hitler, not smart Megan not smart at all). Joining them this time will be Patrick (McBoring in my opinion) Dempsey, John Malkovich and Academy Award Winning Actress Frances McDormad (Fargo watch it, it's brilliant). Okay Michael, we are giving you a third shot to prove yourself. Don't let us down, I'm not ready to send these robots to the scrap heap just yet. Transformers 3 opens July 2011.
