If you were living under a rock last year and have not heard of the hilarious comedy called "The Hangover" I urge you to run out and rent it. You will not be disappointed. It was clever, smart and exceptionally funny. Why am I talking about a movie that was released over a year ago? Well we all know who was the stand out in that movie. I am talking about Zach Galifianakis who played Alan who was going to be the soon to be brother in law (who also could not wait for more people to join his wolf pack, rent the movie and you will laugh why I have included this line) of the groom. Well he is teaming up with the best actor in Hollywood at the moment (and I mean that literally, the man can do know wrong in my book, I can even overlook his time in jail ) Robert Downey Jr. The two will be seen in the coming months in a new movie called, "Due Date." Due Date tells the story of of a highly stressed business man (Downey Jr) who has to hitch a ride with a flamboyant actor (Galifianakis) in order to reach his wife who will soon be delivering their baby. What will ensure will be a comedy road trip like know other. We all know that Galfiianakis is a comedy jem and Downey Jr sure knows how to make us laugh hysterically (watch Tropic Thunder for example) so this may be the next duo that may team up again and again. Throw into the mix Jamie Fox, Juliette Lewis and Michelle Monaghan and it sounds like a winning combination. But don't forget the director Todd Phillips who directed The Hangover and this is going to be one fun ride. I for one have already seen the trailer and I must say I was laughing already (lets hope they didn't show all the best parts) so I will definitely be strapping into my seat to watch this new comedy team work their comedy stylings on film. Due Date opens 4 November (Australia).
