Remember Single White Female? The movie that shook single women everywhere to be weary about who they invite to share their home with. It was a major success in 1992 and made everyone scared shitless of Jennifer Jason Leigh. Poor Bridget Fonda, I bet she wasn't expecting such a psycho when she placed an ad for a roommate in the local paper. Well that was over 18 years ago, and I guess Hollywood is having problems generating new movies, as come next year a new movie will bring the chills about sharing your world with someone in, "The Roommate." Everyone's favourite queen B Leighton Meester will star as Rebecca. But you may think oh great is Leighton going to be the victim here? Guess again. Leighton is actually going to be the villain in this piece which I am very excited about. I viewed the trailer last night, and let me tell you she looks creepy. The story follows Sara who is bound for college with hopes and dreams. When she arrives she is put in the same room as Rebecca (Leighton). They become best friends and enjoy the lifestyle college has to offer. But everything Sara has Rebecca wants and will not let anything get in her way. Scary scary. The movie will also star Cam Gigandet (from every movie out now) Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) and Alyson Michalka (Wild Cats). I for one will be checking this out, as everyone should know what they are instore for when they get a roommate (mwah ha ha ha ha).
