I am a huge fan of Mean Girl Regina George herself Rachel McAdams. Who doesn't love her? She is one of the most talented, beautiful actresses around (plus she has her head screwed on no late night partying for this girl). If you don't believe me check out her evil mean girl Regina in Mean Girls, or use a whole pack of tissues for the weepie epic that is The Notebook. But don't put the tissues away just yet with The Family Stone packing a gut wrenching performance as well from Ms McAdams. But don't think she is just romantic dramedies, Rachel can bring on the thrillers as well just check out State Of Play where she holds her own against the great Helen Mirren and Oscar Winner Russell Crow. Well Ms McAdams is going to be back in fine form come this holiday season with the release of her new movie, "Morning Glory." Rachel has to put in a damn fine performance as she is going to be up against some of the most talented actors around. Morning Glory also stars Indiana Jones himself Harrison Ford, her Family Stone co-star Diane Keaton the underrated Patrick Wilson, the excellent Jeff Goldblum and even rapper turned actor 50 Cent. The story will follow Rachael as producer Becky who is going to give it her all to make a morning program become a hit althought its two main anchors can not stand each other. Sounds like a comedy smash to me. Throwinto the mix the excellent direction of Roger Michell (Notting Hill) who knows a thing or two about comedy and Rachel may have a new hit on her hands. This is one program I will defintely be tuning in for. Morning Glory opens January 2011 (Australia).
