It's Time To Teach These Reviewers A Thing Or Two

I have decided to start this blog as I have spoken to many people who feel the reviews they read do not take into the account the audience the movie is trying to reach and what movies are all about.  Movies are meant to be an escape. A way to leave behind the world and enjoy another place for a few hours. A place where nothing else matters except what is going on on the screen. A chance to enjoy and experience a story which someone wanted to tell, and a director who wanted to put a vision to their words. I feel many reviewers have forgotten the joy and experience cinema can be. They go in and try and destroy what someone has worked so hard to establish. I am not going to say I like every movie I watch, or give it 10/10, but I want to take a different perspective which I feel will show normal everyday people like me do not agree with reviews they are reading, and go into the movies with an open mind and not just score it high or low based on the fact that it is not "Oscar Calibre" or "Citzen Kane." It's time that these reviewers start to open their mind again. I am a 27 year old male who is going to review old school movies, recent releases, or anything I decide to either watch at home, or in the cinema. Just so you know I am being fair, my top movies will not be the standard ones every reviewer seems to have in their selection. Mine range from Toy Story, to Thelma and Louise, The Godfather to Romy and Michelles High School Reunion. This will prove I am not biased and only enjoy high calibre films. Please enjoy and post comments I want to hear what many of you enjoy about the movies I have chosen.
