Can Tom Cruise Save His Franchise? Or Is This One Mission Too Impossible To Handle?

So the new rumour of the day is that Tom Cruise has negotiated his way into letting the studio green light a new Mission Impossible movie. Course this is still a rumour but it could possible be the boost Tom needs in order to get back to being the major box office draw that he once was. But is he past his use by date? His last three movies have not at all done big business (I mean Valkyrie what in the world was that about?). Remember, Cruise was a huge drawcard in his day with most of his movies easily passing the $100 million mark. And until he started jumping up and down on a couch and screaming out at the top of his lungs his love for his lovely (and desperate) wife, the franchise felt a huge drop in popularity. Even though number 3 was probably the best out of all of them (I know number 2 was filmed in Australia, but gosh it was bad and what was with his hair) due to Cruises' stupid PR stunts it never receieved the popularity it should have deserved. But here is hoping I say. Good luck Cruise. I may check it out, or cheap Tuesday at the video store has a new one I will have to add to my list to rent.
