Expendables. Will It Live Up To The Hype? Or Is It Just A Chance For Big Boys To Play With Some Big Toys?

Today I'm finally going to check out what every lover of big, loud, dumb action movies gets excited about. I'm finally going to see "The Expendables" Pairing every major player of action movies from  the 80's and direct to video action heros of the noughties, I can feel the testosterone already flowing from the film canister even before I see it. I have to say I have always held a spot in my heart for Sly Stallone. The man sure looks great for his age, and is actually pretty smart if you think about it. Who else could think of getting together every action hero for the last 2 decades and bring them back from the dead to star in a huge blockbuster which has actually hit theatres instead of the shelf of the video store (do we still call them that since there are actually no VHS copies of movies in a video store anymore?). Its every kids dream to see their childhood action star once again bring them the same thrill as they did when they were young. I hope my expectations are met, otherwise Sly, I might find you expendable as well as this movie.
